MADE IN THE USA

Welcome to Radical Fabrications
We’re a family run machining and metal fabrication shop committed to quality, precision, and real results. Whether you need a single custom part, a welded assembly, or full production machining, we’re here to make it happen. Thanks for stopping by, take a look around and let’s build something great together.

We now operate precision machinery including a GMC 1440 engine lathe, Elgin secondary lathe, dedicated drill press, bead blaster, and additional welding stations. Combined with CNC capacity, this expands our ability to serve more complex and mixed-process builds.

CNC Milling

Precision 3- and 4-axis milling for prototypes, tooling, and production runs. We work with aluminum, tool steels, stainless, and plastics, holding tolerances as tight as ±0.0005” when required. From complex 3D surfacing to high-volume production, our Team delivers consistent, repeatable results.

Lathe Turning

Manual and precision lathe turning for shafts, bushings, pins, spacers, and custom components. We handle one-off prototypes to small-batch runs in aluminum, steel, and stainless, ensuring precise diameters, smooth finishes, and accurate threading.

Metal Fabrication

Custom fabrication services including welding, tacking fixtures, and assembly jigs. We support MIG, TIG, and precision fit-ups for steel, stainless, and aluminum. From structural components to intricate weldments, our fabrication work is built to withstand demanding applications.

About

Radical Fabrications LLC is a precision-focused machining and metal fabrication shop owned and operated by father and son team Rodolfo Duran Jr. and Rodolfo Duran Sr. Built on a foundation of craftsmanship, integrity, and hustle, we specialize in CNC machining, manual milling and turning, welding, and complete custom fabrication.

With over 36 years of hands-on experience in machining and manufacturing, Rodolfo Sr. brings deep industry knowledge and old-school know-how to the table, while Rodolfo Jr. pushes the envelope with modern programming, CNC strategies, and rapid prototyping. Together, we bridge traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge tech to deliver high-quality, high-performance parts.

From one-off prototypes to full assemblies, aerospace tooling to automotive brackets, we don’t just make parts, we make parts that last.

Based in the Antelope Valley, we proudly serve clients across multiple industries, delivering reliable turnaround times, tight tolerances, and fabrication solutions that work the first time.

Rad-Fab Quality Assurance

Our in-house metrology suite includes calipers, micrometers, height gauges, granite surface plate, gauge blocks, and calibrated inspection tools for dimensional verification at all stages.

Rad-Fab Machine Capabilities

Elgin Toolworks TurretLathe

Our Elgin Toolworks 6-station turret lathe is dedicated to efficient, repeatable production turning. The indexed turret allows multiple tools to be staged and cycled rapidly, reducing setup time and increasing throughput for batch work. This machine excels at facing, drilling, boring, threading, and other multi-operation processes completed in a single streamlined sequence. It enables us to maintain consistency from part to part while meeting production demands without sacrificing accuracy.

GMC 14X40 Toolroom Lathe

Our GMC 14×40 toolroom lathe delivers precision manual turning backed by true machinist craftsmanship. While the machine provides the rigidity and capacity for parts up to 14" swing and 40" between centers, the real difference is the skill behind the controls. Manual toolroom work allows us to hold tight tolerances, fine-tune fits, and control surface finish in ways that only experienced hands can achieve. This machine is ideal for precision shafts, bushings, threaded components, repair work, and prototype parts where attention to detail directly determines performance. Every part reflects the operator’s expertise and our commitment to producing high quality results.
